Set the purchase boundary
Supplier changeover is an operating event as well as a purchasing milestone. Once a replacement is qualified, the site still needs a controlled way to move from one identified product to the other without creating mixed inventory or losing the performance baseline.
Identify the proposed commercial grade and the operating condition that must be demonstrated before an order is released.
Release the candidate before connection
Verify that the delivered code matches the accepted candidate, with required documents and suitable package condition. Establish enough approved material for the planned run. The replacement-grade checklist covers the prior qualification decision.
Do not use the production changeover to complete an undisclosed chemistry screen. Outstanding technical limits should be stated before operators disconnect the incumbent.
Map the neat and diluted paths
Identify package, day tank, pump, water-contact zone, aging volume and injection line. Use product- and equipment-specific isolation and flushing instructions. Keep water out of neat storage where uncontrolled contact would create a problem.
Do not mix leftover grades to recover space unless compatibility and the procedure have been explicitly reviewed. Preserve package identities and record residual material.
Track the transition and recovery
Record the switch time, prepared-solution inventory, expected delay and first stable output. Calibrate the new neat flow rather than copying the old controller setting. Compare the accepted active-dose basis after stabilization and retain a safe rollback route.
A transitional outlet excursion must be evaluated with its timing and operating conditions; it should not be hidden in the average or treated immediately as proof of grade failure.
Check the difficult case
If mature incumbent solution remains in a tank, the first sample collected after reconnecting a new tote may still represent the old grade or a transition mixture. Account for system volume before claiming either a successful replacement or a failed trial.
Keep unresolved limitations in the qualification record instead of presenting a proposed benefit as an established operating result.
Record the acceptance evidence
| Check | Evidence | Decision |
|---|---|---|
| Readiness | Released candidate and documents | No surprise qualification gap |
| Path | Isolation and flushing plan | Products remain identifiable |
| Transition | Timing, calibration and recovery | Stable result evaluated fairly |
Retain the sample code, lot, preparation method and measured feed with the purchasing decision. Compare subsequent deliveries with that record, using the same test conditions wherever practicable.
Request a scoped offer
Provide the accepted candidate, storage and activation layout, existing inventory, operating schedule and recovery constraints. Ask for product-specific handling guidance and agree responsibility for commissioning support where it is part of the offer.
Send the evidence through the sample and quotation form. Review packaging and lot controls with Gongyi Xinqi Polymer Co., Ltd., and confirm grade availability and order terms before committing.
